It all began more than half a century ago at Mexikoplatz: my grandfather, together with my father, opened a general goods store and sold fabrics from all over the world. At first only with second-choice goods — the means for new stock were lacking. With effort and persistence he built the business up, improving the quality piece by piece. Word spread across Vienna, the clientele kept growing, and before long suppliers wanted to show their goods with us, too.
In 2004 we moved to Senefeldergasse 24 in Vienna-Favoriten — our long-standing main store, where customers could choose from a range of around 50,000 items. In January 2026 this location closed its doors as the management retired.
By popular demand, Davris Fashion is now back at two new locations: Inzersdorfer Straße 50–56 in Vienna-Favoriten, and Meidlinger Hauptstraße 6, corner of Hufelandgasse, 1120 Vienna. There a generous selection of fabrics of every kind and notions awaits you — and new: our express alterations atelier. We service and repair sewing machines, too.
